Vulcan Days Open House – It’s a Concrete World!

IIn the interest of raising the awareness of concrete construction and its boundless applications, the Vulcan Materials Company joined by Central Blacktop and Prairie Materials, staged an annual open house. The event welcomes in the surrounding community to Vulcan’s McCook, Illinois quarry. The happening is designed as an educational experience and is a showcase to the many uses of the extracted stone.
