Placing RCC

You can transport RCC in conventional dump trucks and place the material using the same equipment and techniques used for asphalt. No forms or steel are required. The dry mix is laid down in single or multiple lifts depending on the depth needed. A vibrating compacting roller compacts the material to the desired density. The surface can be capped with asphalt anytime within the first 72 hours or diamond-finished after a curing period of 7 days. Saw cuts are usually used for crack control.
